CA Anti-Spyware 11.0 is a program that detects and removes spyware.
This way, the program will protect your PC from any unauthorized access, the theft of information and system with weakened performance.
This program is the latest version of CA Anti-Spyware, formerly known as PestPatrol. In the website they refer to this program as CA Anti-Spyware 2009.
The Main Window in the program will show you an Overview, where the program will show you the tasks you can trigger (Quick Scan, Custom Scan or participate), the status of your system, the latest and top threats.
The only action that this program will perform if you´re not subscribed is to scan your system and show you a list of supposedly found threats. Unless you pay the U$S 39.99, you´re going to be told that your system is still infected, and the program won´t do anything to help.
Should you pay the subscription, the program will remove the threats, move the suspected files to the Quarantine folder and produce reports detailing the issues that were found and the actions that were taken.
Through the Options you can configure when will the scanning processes be launched, and how will they manage the items found. |
